Devil Bob: How To

This is really just MochiMochi's Bob with horns and a different tail. I knit Devil Bob using Bernat's Handicrafter yarn so that's why the tail is able to stand up on its own. If you're using a softer yarn you may want to knit around a pipecleaner or use smaller needles to make the gauge tighter.
Hopefully these instructions make sense to someone else besides me!
For the tail: Begin when you reach the part of the Bob pattern where you have 3 stitches on one needle and are about to create the i-cord tail.
Work in i-cord until you start casting on new stitches then it's just normal, two needle knitting.
K3 for 2 rows.
On the next row K1 K2tog, then K2 for about 5 rows.
Cast on 2 stitches using the knitting on method.
K4
Cast on 2 stitches using the backward loop method.
P6
K2tog, K2, K2tog
P4
K2tog twice
P2
K2tog
break yarn, pull through last stitch and weave in ends.
For the horns: All I can really offer is a vague guideline here. I used such thick black yarn that all I did was cast on 2 stitches, knit once, knit together, pulled the yarn through and then weaved in the ends until the tiny wads of yarn resembled horn shapes. I stitched them on where the decreases start on the main body. I'd recommend using the i-cord technique and playing around with it until you find the right size.
